
Laura Cox Managing Director
Laura set up Frontline in 2004 to provide marketing consultancy and services to publishers to enable them to optimise and broaden their promotional activities without the expense of hiring additional staff. She specialises in marketing strategy and business models, advice on and negotiation with library consortia, extensive market research, and PR to the library market. She also held the position of Acting Business Manager for the Association of Learned and Professional Society Publishers. She is the author of the Consortium Purchasing Directory and Scholarly Publishing Practice (ALPSP).
Laura previously worked at John Cox Associates Ltd in publishing consultancy. She covered all aspects of marketing strategy for publishers, including development of strategic plans, market research and industry surveys, pricing models, the analysis of and advise on marketing functions and electronic interfaces.
Prior to that she worked for Taylor and Francis in journals marketing and has held a number of sales and marketing positions in differing industries since graduation from university.
